A. This state board is a
body that controls the quality of locally-produced and imported
seeds by monitoring them throughout their production chain and
determining their order;
B.
Monitoring imported seeds according to laboratory criterions and
pursuant to a mechanism preventing the access of bad imported seeds
to local markets;
C. Keeping and documenting
existing genetic plant resources, as well as newly-derived
varieties, in genetic resources bank; and
D.
Acclimatizing plants entering the country and propagating them
within the local plant garden.
