economy in the field of protecting animal resources from diseases in
accordance with development plans and planning policies issued by
the government, through offering veterinary and animal health
services which is the main support for keeping and developing animal
resources;
B. Awarding veterinary
health certificates for living animals and their exported products;
C. Awarding licenses for
importing medicines and veterinary vaccines;
D. Protecting animal
resources from incoming diseases by applying border quarantine
measures on entering alive animals and their products; and
E. Monitoring slaughterhouses and checking carcasses to ensure
their suitability for human consumption.
